All About Us!

ADULT PROGRAMS AT THE LIBRARY

The library strives to provide programs for adults that are stimulating, interesting, fun and offer an opportunity to socialize with others who have similar interests. Most of our programs meet on a regular basis along with special interest programs that are offered several times a year. We are always looking for new and exciting programs, so please feel free to offer suggestions to our staff.

- ESL -

Our ESL (English as a Second Language) tutoring program is available to Old Tappan residents ONLY who need to improve their English skills. One-on-one tutoring and small group conversation groups are available. We currently have a limited number of tutors, so there is a one to two month delay arranging a tutor. If you are interested in becoming an ESL tutor, please see Maria at the library. If you need a tutor, please come to the library and fill out an ESL tutor request form. Due to a shortage of tutors, there is currently a waiting list for sessions.
